Heba Walid Yassin
My name is Heba Walid Yassin, 26 years old, Palestinian from Lebanon, but I am originally from Saffuriyya in Palestine. At the end of 2015, I made my first Palestinian coin design when a Lebanese newspaper launched a contest to design Palestinian currency. Since then, I started working on stamp designs in addition to designs for Nakba day and Earth day.
As a Palestinian, my culture was stolen along with my homeland and so I decided to dedicate my art to Palestine, in order to spread Palestinian culture and history and to shed light on the beauty of Palestinian cities. Art is a language that everyone speaks, understands, and allows me to present my story to the world.
