Younis and Feras Shwikey Story

Since 2012, Younis and Feras Shwikey from Hebron work in construction. They use the stones to build in a very special way, with artful design to preserve the heritage

They break the stone after taking it out of the ground and shaping it the way they want for thier work. Working in this field is uncommon now that the construction industry has devolped, they build using the traditional methods while merging the new cement and iron matrerials and connecting water and electrical connection

As well as other tools.They describe their work as hard work that requires a lot of time and effort, especially when it becomes more difficult, when temperatures are low and it rains a lot in winter, but also in summer when the temperatures are very high
