  • Each story can be of one photo up to five photos that cover the story protagonist or its place, and of course, the stories are accompanied by the text that tell the story. Please, the text of the story does not exceed 200 words.

 

  • The photographer can submit up to 10 stories, but it is not necessary for all stories are going to get approved. The publication depends on the vision of the editorial board and what the platform needs.

 

 

  • No, if are ready to walk, hear stories, and most importantly, ready to collect stories in your own way within the confines of the tour area then you are in! After completing the tour, you can submit the stories you prepared and check the possibility of publishing them on our platforms while maintaining your ownership rights of the photos and the story. You don’t need to own a camera to participate.

 

  • First, you should know that our articles should be about photography or storytelling in relation to the Palestinian cause. You can send the initial proposal to our e-mail, and then we will contact you via e-mail to discuss how to cooperate in publishing the article.

  • No, we believe in the entitlement of photographers towards the content they work on, so all our materials are paid for and the content is credited to its owner.

  •  Light is the basis of photography, so pay attention to lighting.
  •  Pay attention to shadows and reflections.
  •  A variety of shooting angles that provide multiple options.
  •  Take all the measurements in the portrait when photographing the protagonists of the story. Which is known in the language of photography: medium shot, long shot, and close.
  •  Take longitudinal and crosswise photos.
  •  Focus on the details and spaces surrounding the story’s protagonists, such as photographing objects around them, their area, or their profession.
  •  Pay attention to the laws of image formation, such as the distribution of figures, the law of thirds, or overlaps and framing.
  •    Feel free to ask questions to the editorial board if anything needs to be clarified.

  •  The story can be narrated in first-person form, spoken by the protagonist of the story, or in the form of narration.   
  •  Do not write too many introductions, be direct, and avoid poetic language and descriptions.   
  •  Mention some information, as the audience of readers may not have complete knowledge, for example, Ahmed was born in Ain al-Hilweh camp, which is a    camp in Lebanon that was established after the expulsion of the Palestinians from their land in 1948.
