It was the 3rd of october, 2000

“”The day that changed my whole life, I was 21 at that time, and it was the first days of the Second Intifada, “Tulkarem my hometown city was like many other Palestinian cities which had mass demonstrations, we were demonstrating aganist the brutal response of the Israeli occuoption after Sharon provocative visit to Al-Aqsa Mosque, when suddenly I got shot by the israel army, because of my serve injury I had to live with a half kidney, thus, I lost my ability to work in a lot of works fields.

But even though the doctor advised me not to work, I didn’t give up.

I opened a small shop so I could have a little money.

Today, 22 years after that incident, I am standing in my shop alone trying to support my family despite everything.”
