Adham Maqat Story

I am Adham Maqat (15 years) and I have been a member of the acrobatic gymnastics 3 years ago with my friends, Yasser, Moataz and Wasim.

Initially, I was watching the YouTube platform for the acrobat Mohammed Al -Sheikh, and I trained to develop my talent through the Palestine Champions Center with my coach Bashar Moussa.
My family had many fears: at first a fear that it would do me a harm. But they dealt with me with caution, then they encouraged me and registered me in a center to develop my talent.

After 3 years of training and mastery of the acrobatic movements, I participated in the Asian Yoga Championship in India to represent Palestine and raise the flag of Palestine among other countries and prove to everyone that the children of Palestine are able to be creative and compete like the rest of the world despite the siege and border crossings that prevent us from freedom to travel and participate in the championships that we are invited to.

In the coming years, I aspire to be crowned as an international champion and to represent my beloved homeland Palestine.
