Mohammad Zaqout

“Mohammad Zaqout, 18 years old, was a brave young man who loved to work and strive for his education and future. He was in his first year of university, and one of his dreams was to pursue his studies in software engineering

He began his studies and was in the first semester, but he didn’t have the chance to enjoy his education or anticipate graduation. As the war started, the occupation targeted his family’s home. His two older siblings were martyred, and Mohammad, along with his mother, suffered from injuries

After his injury, he began to recover. Mohammad and his family sought refuge in his uncle’s house, but the occupation once again targeted the house they were staying in. In the subsequent attack, his father was injured.”

When Mohammad went to rescue his father, his wounds reopened, leading to an infection. After enduring the effects of his injuries, Mohammad succumbed on the 19th of December 2023

A message received on our platforms from his cousin Omar Shaqoura, who appears with him in the photo.
