Khaled Mattar A’abied

“Teacher Khaled Mattar A’abied worked as a math teacher in UNRWA schools in Gaza. He was married, a father of three children, and resided in the northern part of Gaza City, the city of pride”.

“At the beginning of the war, his home was destroyed, and he was displaced to his eldest brother’s house in Al-Sheikh Radwan. When the danger intensified, they evacuated to Al-Nusirat city. However, the threat persisted, prompting him and his family to move to Rafah city in the south, residing in tents”.

“On January 20, Khaled and his son Waleed were targeted by a drone (Zanana) in Rafah. Khaled was killed instantly, while his son Waleed, severely injured, succumbed to his injuries on January 24.”
