Dina Shadi Akila

“I am writing this message while feeling very sad, Dina. I can’t comprehend that I won’t be able to see you or meet you again.”

“Dina Shadi Akila , my friend, colleague, and sweetheart, studied alongside me for four years at the university. Dina excelled, graduated with honors and secured a position as an assistant lecturer at the Islamic University in the College of Information Technology.”

“She worked with several companies in the field of programming, which she loved the most. She never hesitated to help us with anything over these four years”.

“Dina was diligent and an incredibly generous friend; everyone thought that we were sisters in university. But my dear friend has left.”

“Dina was scheduled to give birth to her first child, but on December 7, 2023, she, along with her husband and her parents-in-law, were killed by the occupation just days before her expected delivery date.”
