Darwish Mostafa Khakaf

“My father, the engineer Darwish Mostafa Khakaf, was a righteous man, known for his faith and  good morals. He was a father to six sons and six daughters, all of whom are married. Most of them are living abroad, between the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Belgium”.

‏“My father, like many residents of Gaza, sought refuge in a family home on Unity Street, hoping it would be a safe place. Unfortunately, there is no secure place left in the Gaza Strip”.

‏“On December 7, 2023, at precisely 3:00 AM, just before the dawn (Fajr) prayer, the house where my father, Darwish, was located, was hit by a rocket. Consequently, my father sustained a direct impact from the rocket while he was asleep and was killed instantly. If the rocket had exploded, it could have resulted in a massacre for the entire family
