Samhan Al-Haj
“My uncle, Samhan Al-Haj, was a wonderful and affectionate person, known for his good manners, religious devotion, and wisdom. He was always there for us and for others. Despite being married for 20 years, he and his wife did not have children.”
“When we visited him in Al-Nuseirat, he insisted on preparing lunch or dinner for us and urged us to stay overnight. Whenever we gathered at his place, he would call my other two uncles, and we would all come together. He enjoyed taking pictures of us during these gatherings, capturing the happy moments, and would say, “Now your grandma, may her soul rest in peace, is so happy that you all are gathered.”
“On February 11th, Uncle Samhan was killed while on his way to the Al-Haj fishery to bring fish for distribution to school shelters. He has now reunited with my grandma, leaving his wife alone. Her parents are besieged in Gaza, and my uncle is no longer with us.”
A message was received on our platform from his nephew Raghd.
