Jana Al-Najar

“Jana Al-Najar was one of the most intelligent, responsible, and compassionate individuals you could ever meet in your life. Jana, Sarah, and Alaa, my three sisters, were killed in the bombing of my grandfather’s house in Khan Younis. The Israeli bombing occurred at dawn on December 26th. Before we went to sleep, Jana cooked rice with milk for all six of us that night.”

“Jana was killed under the rubble at the age of 14. She was the top student in her school, her region, and the entire Gaza Strip. Her school performance was 100%. Jana was talented in drawing and crafting accessories from beads and shells. Everyone loved Jana; she was everyone’s friend”.

“Jana was very close to Sarah; they loved going out together, taking pictures, praying, and doing everything together. They were killed together. Jana was a young mother of Alaa, who was 9 years old when she was killed.”

“Our lives feel empty without Jana; laughter has vanished from our faces, as if the world has turned black and whiteMay God have mercy on you, Jana, and grant patience to our hearts after losing three of you. You are dearly missed”.

A message was received on our platform from her sister, Maryam Muhammad Sobhi Al Najjar. In the photos, Jana appears with her sister Sara, who was killed alongside her. We recently shared her story on our platform.
