Fadi Abu Salima
“Teacher Fadi Abu Salima wasn’t just any teacher; he was like a brother, a friend, a supporter, and a source of strength. He was the one who could comfort everybody. I’ve known him for years, and I remember how well-mannered and cheerful he was. He loved everybody and was always willing to give, even at the expense of his own health”.
“He was a man who cherished life whenever he could. As an English teacher, in a subject often seen as complicated by many, being one of Fadi’s students made the situation different. His lessons were a source of joy, and we never got bored with his explanations. On the contrary, we eagerly awaited them with love”.
“You can imagine that he was the favorite teacher for his students, always the go-to person for them to share their worries and problems and get help. He constantly provided motivation. He encouraged us to be the best version of ourselves, striving to be better than everyone else.”
“He stayed awake until the early morning hours to answer our questions and guide us through the lessons, being with us every step of the way. I know him very well, and I can attest that he was never late to offer help to anyone—whether a student, brother, or friend. Truly, I can’t describe how much of a giver he was. Whenever his name came up, everyone talked about his kindness”.
“On October 23, Fadi was killed along with his family when their home was targeted. Fate decided that they would all depart together. It was God’s mercy that they left together because they were one soul, and nobody could bear the loss of the other. Fadi’s physical presence may be gone, but he remains in our hearts as a cherished memory”.
A message received on our platform from his student, Hala Eied. In the photos, Fadi appears with his family, whose story we previously shared.
