Asil Abu Muammar

“My youngest sister, who was so beloved by my mother that she embraced her in the same grave.”

“Asil Abu Muammar, who was not yet eighteen years old, had memorized the entire Quran and was beloved by her teachers and friends at school. She was in high school and ranked first in her studies, achieving a goal she had always dreamed of.”

“Sadly, on December 20, she was killed by the occupation along with my mother, father, siblings, and niece. We will never be together again.”

A message received on our platforms from her brother Radwan Abu Muammar. Asil’s story is one of the many stories of Abu Muammar family members who were killed during the war, and their son Radwan shared it with us.
